I Agree completely about the BS of the medical costs and insurance companies - they refused to pay for an "early" mammogram even with a history in the family and "questionable" lumps because I wasn't "of age" yet. It wasnt until I screamed at the guy on the phone that if he would rather cover breast cancer treatment costs instead of a flipping $100 mammo, I wanted HIM to explain that to his boss and to the atty's because I was absolutely going to sue. Imagine my surprise when I got an approval letter 2 days later. Then there's the whole jaw surgery debacle - the main thing is being informed and staying on them. I know you will get as much as you possibly can for your dad - hang in there! Glad MEDICALLY he is doing better - this is a good step in the right direction.
